Where Wireframes Are Concerned [Design View / Andy Rutledge]
It's incredible how frequently clients mistake wireframes for polished designs. Andy's right, there must be a better way.

Re #3: I’ve had the most success presenting what little information *is* useful for clients to see at the UE stage in textual, rather than graphic, format. I’m asking them read a lot more, but usually when people are forced to read, they think more deeply and understand better what’s being proposed.
And, yeah: Really, what business do we have presenting essentially conceptual information—what elements of the site will exist and how people will use them—in graphical format?
(That said, informal wireframes usually supplement the document—which I call a “Website Outline,” sometimes, however pedestrian that might sound—for internal audiences (especially designers).

@devan,
I’m inclined to agree, but it makes me wonder if my preference for reading and writing unduly encourages me to present written material rather than visual.
